Split cylindrical roller bearings are completely split to the shaft for easy maintenance and simplification of shaft systems. They are suitable for a wide range of load and speed conditions. 100 Series bearings are the most compact standard range of split cylindrical roller bearings and are generally mounted in SKF Cooper housings with provision for static misalignment between the shaft and housing. EX type bearings accommodate axial shaft movement with virtually no friction if the movement takes place whilst the shaft is turning.
