Felt seals are a cost-effective sealing solution for general applications, sealing against coarse particles in dry conditions. Felt seals fit in the standard seal grooves of SKF Cooper cartridges. They do not fit in cartridges for triple labyrinth seals. Good seal integrity is assured by the concentricity of housing end bores to the shaft provided by the swivel seating of SKF Cooper housings.
